We offer the following services:
A fully computer generated image where all visible elements including the main subject, landscape and surrounding context environment is built from scratch in a 3d modelling program.
An artist impression image where all visible elements including styling accessories, landscaping and background are computer generated.
A photo montages are composited or blended visualisations that consist of 3d rendered elements such as the proposed dwelling or residential interiors, layered on top of a photo showing the existing site or environment. This can be done for street scape or aerial level view points.
Marketing quality floor plans are typically simplified versions of architectural drawings that are refined for exceptional legibility. The intention is to allow anyone to understand the layout of a proposed design at a glance.
More complex textured and orthogonal 3d floor plans are great for illustrating proposed floor finishes and furniture layouts, conveying a sense of scale.

A photo montage of an existing site with the proposed property layered on top. The 3d model is positioned in the photograph at precisely the same angle and relative level as the building would appear in real life. This is achieved by referencing the RL survey points of the surrounding buildings and landscaping. The sun position and light level is also precisely simulated to match the point in time the site photograph was captured.
A special report is also included with the image/s addressing criteria specified by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), making the images admissible evidence in a dispute hearing.
The product visualisations allow clients to create photorealistic images of various consumer products, for example, office furniture collections for a new product catalogue launch.
A high definition film presentation featuring computer generated imagery, motion graphics and live action footage.
Pricing enquiries for all projects are assessed independently, allowing us to evaluate the scope of works and client needs prior to submitting our formal fee proposal.

For a typical 3d renders job, we use our 3 step submission process which is budgeted into our quoted prices.
This allows clients to review progress and provide creative input at key stages of the project.
Below is a brief description of each submission stage.
Proposed camera options are submitted for client review.
The selected view angles will be used for the final version of the 3d render. Typically we try to set up at least 3 or 4 options per artwork.
At this stage the model does not have any textures applied.
Furniture, accessories and vegetation shown in the white renders should be considered indicative only and may change in future submissions.
The lighting setup may also be refined in subsequent versions, depending on the selected view options.
Initial drafts of the client’s preferred view options are submitted for review and comment.
Refined textures, lighting, landscaping, furniture and styling accessories have been added to the model. The render output is retouched.
Clients may provide feedback and request changes by marking up the proofs.
Revisions requested by the client are implemented in this submission.
The image is rendered at high quality, high resolution settings. Final retouching is applied to the render outputs.
A low resolution, watermarked preview version of Proof C is supplied to the client for approval.
Additional revision rounds beyond proof C are available at client’s request but may incur extra fees.
Once the client approves previews of the final artwork, a tax invoice is issued for processing.
On receipt of payment, watermarks are removed and the high resolution artwork files are made available for download.
Q. How long will it take to complete my 3d renders project?
A. This always depends on the number of images you require and the scale and complexity of the project (i.e. a simple single dwelling project will usually take less time than a multi-level apartment building).
There are some other varying factors that can affect the overall timeframe. These may include turn-around time required for the client to review progress submissions and provide feedback comments. As well as allowing some additional time to approve quotations and process invoiced payments.
We will be able to supply a projected time estimate once we receive your architectural drawings and a brief description of the view angles required.
As a rough indication, we estimate that the average lead time for a 4-5 image project is approximately 12-15 business days.
Q. How much do you charge for 3d renders?

Q. What is the process? How does it all work?
A. Please visit the downloads section and have a read through our client outline guides. They will supply a comprehensive checklist of architectural drawings, schedules and file formats we require to commence working on your project as well as our general process for artwork submissions and client review.

Q. What is the resolution of your final 3d renders?
A. This may depend on the aspect ratio of the artwork i.e. landscape, portrait, square...
Typically we aim to supply our still image renders in 6K. For a landscape-oriented image, this would measure approximately 6000 by 4200 pixels (25 megapixels) and would yield a full spread A3 print at 370 pixels per inch.
Q. Do I need to submit CAD drawings and specifications to receive a quotation?
A. No, for quotation purposes CAD files and detailed specifications are not necessary, you can send through your drawings in PDF format.
Please be sure to include all the floor plans and elevations drawings.
Supplying exterior and interior finishes schedules, landscape plans and joinery drawings will help us to assess an accurate fee proposal but are less vital if unavailable.
Q. Why do prices vary between different 3d rendering studios?
A. Some studios employ local artists to create the visualisations while others may outsource the work overseas where labour costs are considerably cheaper. There are also differences in operating costs and workflows that need to be taken into account.

Q. Do you work with interstate and international clients?
A. Yes we do! While our 3d rendering company is located in Melbourne and many of our clients are based in the local area, we have a growing presence in many other metropolitan and regional parts of Australia.
In particular, we have completed a significant number of 3d rendering projects for clients in Sydney, Canberra, Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Coolum Beach) and Ballarat. We have also worked with clients in Brisbane and Perth.
International clients are also most welcome to place enquiries since the work process involved would be the same as for local clients in Australia.
Face to face meetings are rarely essential for the completion of the project with correspondence between studio and client mostly done via email, video and phone calls. This allows us to work with anyone regardless of their location.
Q. Do I need to make a deposit payment?
A. Yes, if you decide to approve our quote, we will issue an invoice for a deposit. Tycally 30% of total quoted price.
Work on your project can only commence once we have received your initial payment, as well as all necessary drawings and schedules.
